September at the RBSA: into autumn with exhibitions, workshops and solo shows…

Autumn at the RBSA is packed with great events and exhibitions for all tastes. We have our emerging artists’ showcase, Next Wave 2018, for those of you who like your art conceptual and very current.

We’re delving into the archives for our Curators’ show, with a look at past Honorary Curators of the Society, including the late Paul Hipkiss.

Our friends at Birmingham Art Circle are taking a literary theme for their latest exhibition Inspired by Words later in the month, and we’re back into the archives for our Extraordinary Women Saturday demo, which will reveal some of the most formidable females in our Collection.

With our Shape Up! craft exhibition continuing, and a host of solo shows, there are plenty of reasons to visit us this autumn, so make sure you drop by during a lunch hour or at the weekend! We will be delighted to welcome you…
