The June deadline for entries to our Friends Exhibition is fast approaching. Make sure you enter soon.

Did you know that if you become a Friend of the RBSA you enjoy a host of benefits, including reduced fees for entry to shows, and in this case, your very own exhibition!

Friends Exhibition: deadline 19 June

Glen Ibbitson: ‘Horus, the Magician’ and ‘The Emerald Archer’ – from the 2017 Friends Exhibition

Our annual display of artwork by the Friends promotes their range of artistic talents and acknowledges their importance to the Society. Previously known as subscribers, the Friends have been part of the RBSA since the 1900s and the RBSA was one of the first societies to allow subscribers to have their own exhibitions.

The Friends exhibition features a range of work in a variety of media, and many of the pieces are for sale. To enter, go to the exhibition page.

You’ll find our entry fees very reasonably priced, and if you become a Friend of the RBSA, there’s no fee at all…

Application forms are made available to download at the respective exhibition pages at the main RBSA website, or you can send in an SAE to the gallery. The same pages will display selection announcements.

Watch out for announcements soon… the quickest way to stay up-to-date is to follow us on Twitter.

Artists with any queries can get in touch by calling 0121 236 4353 or emailing rbsagallery@rbsa.org.uk

Benefits of responding to our Call for Entries include:

  • The chance to be exhibited alongside national and internationally renowned artists
  • Your work on the walls of a prestigious and historic art gallery
  • Promotion across social media and to a network of collectors and art lovers
  • Discounted entry fees for artists under 35
  • No entry fees for Friends of the RBSA who pay display fees only

One of the chief benefits of joining us is that artists bypass entry fees and only pay display fees if their work is selected for certain exhibitions.

The RBSA strives to ensure widespread publicity and sustained promotion of all our exhibitions, both online and through our networks at a regional and national level.
