Inspiring art while staying at home

The RBSA would like to open the opportunity to share the creative ways artists are continuing their practice and engaging audiences during social distancing.

There has been a wonderful surge in the way creatives have been using the internet to share their work, make video workshops and look out for each other. Engagement with visual arts is a fundamental part of the RBSA and it’s extremely important that we continue sharing the brilliant work of our artists to a variety of audiences – even if our gallery is closed.

The RBSA currently has an active blog, social media channels, and we are now looking into additional platforms for exhibiting artwork online.

If you want to stay engaged with our community and have artwork, writing, videos, images or ideas to share, we’d love to hear from you. It can be as simple as a few sketches from home or a list of useful resources, to a full video tutorial or live tour of your home studio. You don’t even need to have started yet, just get in touch with an idea and we can chat.

Send us a message on social media, email marketing@rbsa.org.uk or simply tag us @rbsagallery

If you need technical support or advice in realising your idea/work for digital audiences, please let us know.

Thank you and take care,

Magda (Marketing Coordinator)
